The new vehicle, which was delivered to the department in March was built by the Seagrave Company of Clintonville, Wisconsin. It is equipped with a 1500 gallon per minute pump and a 750 gallon tank as well as 3000 feet of fire hose of various diameters. It has an 8 KW generator and an on board foam tank and its body is made of stainless steel which is important in a seaside community. The truck, which can carry up to eight firemen, has made about thirty calls since the factory delivered it in March. It replaces a truck which the department has owned since 1992.
